At Right to Belong, we work to address the urgent challenges faced by displaced communities. This includes the people who are often overlooked. These are refugees, stateless individuals and internally displaced persons. Our work spans advocacy, policy reforms, community support, and research and awareness. Our mission is simple: to ensure that displaced persons are no longer marginalised but are empowered to thrive, fully recognised and are able to enjoy the rights every human being deserves.

What is a displaced person?
Displacement means:
A displaced person is someone who has been forced to flee their home due to war, persecution, or disaster. Displacement can be internal (within a country) or international (across borders). Right to Belong
Why should this matter to you?
Citizenship is more than just a legal status—it’s the foundation of identity, security, and opportunity. Without it, stateless and displaced people are denied basic rights like education, healthcare, and the ability to work. They live in uncertainty, often invisible to society and vulnerable to exploitation.
More than 122.6 Million forcibly displaced worldwide
