Stateless individuals often live in a legal and social limbo, unable to fully participate in society.

A refugee is a person who has fled their country because of fear of persecution, violence, or war. They are unable or unwilling to return home due to the risk of harm. Refugees are granted special protections under international law.

Citizenship is more than just a legal status—it’s the foundation of identity, security, and opportunity. Without it, stateless and displaced people are denied basic rights like education, healthcare, and the ability to work. They live in uncertainty, often invisible to society and vulnerable to exploitation.
